Students at Central Athens Elementary were given a challenge last week to collect as many newspapers as possible for recycling. By the end of the drive, 841 pounds had been collected to give to Keep Athens Beautiful. Wendy Ottaberry’s kindergarten class collected the most, with 255 pounds.
