Rainbow Girls press release
The Cedar Creek Lake Masons honored their Past Masters at their meeting on Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Cedar Creek Lake Masonic Lodge. The evening started out with a delicious ham and sides dinner followed by a program. All Past Masters present were recognized, and each stated the year in which they were Master. Carrie Currey, Grand Keeper of the Door, Grand Cross of Color Team, International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, beautifully performed the Ribbon Ceremony. She was assisted by her sister, Emily Currey. The dinner and program were attended by local Masons, Eastern Star, Rainbow Girls, and their families. It was a delightful evening of fellowship as we honored our past leaders.
Rainbow Girls participate in a wide array of activities, including leadership training, service projects, competitions, and annual retreats. Along the way, they gather invaluable life skills that help them become the best daughter, sister, student, and friend they can be. Contact Mrs. Tonya Currey at 903-920-5608 or Mrs. Donna Dean at 903-345-2001 or visit www.txiorg.org for information on joining the greatest organization for girls ages 11 through 20. Their younger group, the Pledges, have activities for girls ages 7 to 10. The Gun Barrel City Rainbow Girls and Pledges are proudly sponsored by the Cedar Creek Lake Masonic Lodge and the Gun Barrel City Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star on Legendary Lane in Gun Barrel City.
