TxDOT, assisted by DPS, at midnight closed the westbound lane of SH 31 at Cedar Creek between Malakoff and Trinidad in Henderson County due to flooding. “I want to thank all the parents that were involved for their patience and cooperation. I will say that our security plan worked as needed. Our security personnel responded quickly, as well as local and county law enforcement. Again, I appreciate everyone’s cooperation during the lockdown.”
