The Athens Construction Management Class presented a custom concrete bench to the City of Athens at the City Council’s regular meeting Monday night.

A committee has been formed to identify all of the needs that MISD currently has. This committee will make recommendations on what will be addressed with new funds generated from the passing of the proposed $10 million bond on November 3rd. Funeral services for David Wayne Ellis will be Saturday, Sept. 26 , 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Cross Roads, Texas with Bro. Frank Upchurch officiating.
David was born Nov. 7, 1961 in Carroll, Iowa to Donald Leroy and Laura Rose Ellis. He passed away on September 23, 2015 in Donie, TX.
