Beef Before the Battle Scheduled!

Hey, TVCC football fans – we’ve got some big news! This year’s Beef Before the Battle will be moved to the Cain Center to accommodate a larger crowd.

This year’s event is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 21, and will precede Saturday’s Battle In The Valley against Nassau Community College at Bruce Field.

Danny’s BBQ has agreed to cater the event again.

This will be the third straight year Weinstein Law has held the preseason banquet – and this year we are partnering with Paul Benson and Virtual Communications Specialists, who is sponsoring Saturday’s game.

More details about tickets and guest speakers will be released as we go along, but we wanted you to mark it on your calendar and help the 2014 SWJCFC Champion Cardinals kick off another season!

TVCC Student Government Association Tops in the State

Students that went to the convention were: Nikki Alvarez, Mahad Asim, Latasha Brumsey, Denisha Davis, Hannah Feinsod, Taaron Hall, Terrance Jackson, Sarah Marshall, Albanee Martin, Kolby Meshack, Cynthia Oliveros, Jaylin Hemphill-Poplar, Skylar Ray, Masaya Rowe, Aesha Sizemore and Cori Warren.

The Student Government Association at Trinity Valley Community College was selected Chapter of the Year by the Texas Junior College Student Government Association. The award was presented at the state convention in Addison last weekend.

TVCC Beef Cattle Show Team Earns Awards in Houston

The Beef Cattle Show Team at Trinity Valley Community College claimed the Good Herdsman Award in the Charolais Division at the recent Houston Livestock Show. The Trinity Valley Community College Beef Cattle Show Team earned several awards while participating in the 2015 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

The TVCC Beef Cattle Show Team was involved in the Open Charolais Cattle division of the show last month.
