Press release

Do you sing? Play an instrument? TVCC wants you! It’s a proven fact that music will make you smarter in other subjects, and scholarships are available if you qualify. So no matter what your field of study, consider adding choir or band to your fall schedule.

Singers of all abilities are encouraged to audition for a place in the TVCC Choir. You don’t have to have previous choral experience or be a music major, just be able to match pitch.

And the Cardinal Regiment is seeking experienced band members to join their ranks. If you played an instrument and/or marched in high school, you could be on the field and in the parades this fall.

Be sure you get a well-rounded education. For more information, call the TVCC Fine Arts Department in Athens, 903-675-6351 or email [email protected].
