Trinity Valley Community College President Dr. Jerry King will receive the prestigious Shirley B. Gordon Award from Phi Theta Kappa at the organization’s Centennial Celebration, to be held April 19-21 in Kansas City, MO.
The Gordon Award is named in honor of PTK’s longest serving Board Chair and a founder and long-time President of Highline Community College in Washington. College presidents and campus chief executive officers, nominated by their Phi Theta Kappa chapter, are selected for this award in recognition for their outstanding support of PTK.
“I am very honored to be selected for Phi Theta Kappa’s Shirley B. Gordon Award of Distinction,” said King. “I look forward to attending the Centennial Celebration in Kansas City, MO and receiving the award.”
