Here are some photos and video from the sidelines of No. 4 TVCC’s big win over No. 6 Navarro Saturday, Sept. 6. The Cardinals beat the Bulldogs 66-30 to improve to 2-0 on the year.

As I write this we are just 20 minutes away from kickoff of the No. 4 TVCC Cardinals opening up their season at home against the No. 13 Tyler Junior College Apaches.

It is a home game against a fierce rival and a conference game. Do you need anything else to get you excited?

Well how about this: Today also marks the TVCC debut of Devonte Fields, the defensive end who expected to play for TCU this year and was named the preseason Big 12 Player of the Year. This is a guy with serious NFL prospects.

The Lady Card VB team defeated Pratt 3-0 Saturday afternoon to stay unbeaten on the year at 9-0.

The 9-0 start is the best in the 5-year history of the Lady Card VB program.

The Lady Cards won 25-17, 25-12, 25-12   in their final game of the Seminole State tournament.

They open conference play Wednesday at Navarro. Game time is 7 p.m.
