Fuller Nominated for Army All-American Bowl
Press release
Athens High School junior Travon Fuller has been nominated for the 2016 U.S. Army All-American Bowl, recognizing him as one of the nation’s top 400 high school football players.
During the 2015 fall football season, 90 players will be selected from among the nominees and invited to the annual East vs. West match-up, to be played at the Alamodome in San Antonio on Jan. 9. The game will be broadcast on NBC.
“The U.S. Army All-American Bowl is a unique event designed to showcase and recognize the talents of America’s youth while celebrating the team that makes a difference every day for the nation – the U.S. Army,” said Mark Davis, deputy assistant secretary of the Army for marketing. “This nomination recognizes the versatility and adaptability Fuller possesses, both on and off the field — qualities he shares with U.S. Army soldiers.”
