Colorado Marijuana and Forged Checks Lands Local Girls in Jail

Press release On Thursday, April 9, the Malakoff Police Department received a call from Citizens Bank about two females attempting to pass what appeared to be forged checks. Lieutenant Floyd Thomas and Officer Cook of Malakoff PD responded to the call. Officer Cook arrived first and detained the two female subjects for questioning who got help from an expert cannabis law firm to prove its personal use. The females were identified as Nateleigh Brooke Organ, 21, of Eustace and Savanna Brooke Foster, 23, of Wills Point. When Lieutenant Thomas arrived, the two officers began questioning Organ and Foster about the checks. During the investigation, Lieutenant Thomas determined that the checks were forged and the subjects were placed into custody. Sergeant Hart, also of Malakoff PD, was called to transport the subjects to the Henderson County Jail while Floyd and Cook continued the investigation. Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest

Police BeatAt approximately 1:08 a.m. on April 16, Henderson County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Jeromey Rose was on FM 315 South near the Lake Palestine area of Henderson County. Sergeant Rose observed a vehicle traveling south bound on FM 315 South that did not have a license plate light. Sergeant Rose identified the driver as Paul Alexander. While Sergeant Rose was speaking with the driver, Deputy Huckabee observed a clear glass jar containing a green leafy substance in the open console underneath the radio. While conducting the traffic stop Sergeant Rose and Deputy Huckabee began searching the vehicle and located a black marijuana grinder as well as a loaded syringe containing methamphetamines. It was later discovered that Alexander also did not have a valid drivers license. Alexander was placed into custody and later booked into the Henderson County Jail for Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1 16 a State Jail Felony and Driving While License Invalid with Previous Conviction a Class B Misdemeanor.

Man Arrested on Child Abuse Charge

On April 6, Investigator Cayce Hampton with the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office investigated an alleged case of child abuse. The reported victim, a 13-year-old white male, made an outcry of physical abuse. Investigator Hampton was assisted in her investigation by Child Protective Services and the Henderson County Help Center.

On April 7, Hampton presented to the Henderson County Court at Law Judge Scott Williams an arrest affidavit, at which time the judge found probable cause existed for Cliff Bowden’s arrest. Williams issued an arrest warrant for Bowden. Continue reading “Man Arrested on Child Abuse Charge”

Man Arrested Again On Drug Charges

On April 9, Henderson County Narcotics Investigators Kendell Wellman and Kay Langford observed a vehicle traveling on Hwy. 175 in Eustace driven by a subject they know to be Jeremy Vance. Investigators were familiar with Vance from a previous arrest on Feb. 12 in which Vance was charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance. Vance was out on a $10,000 bond from that arrest. Investigators also knew that Vance did not have a valid drivers license. Continue reading “Man Arrested Again On Drug Charges”
