I’ve been thinking about body size. I think about it a lot because I have been really proud of myself for losing 30 pounds in the last few months. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while but never could find the motivation to, but now I have! After following different diets and programs, like the weight loss program, I found a plan that worked for me and helped me shed a significant amount of weight, find more about from the latest resurge reviews.

I did it because I wanted to get the weight off my arthritic knee, so maybe I wouldn’t have to replace it. I’m not sure I’ve saved the knee, but in other respects, I’ve felt like I got a nearly new me. It was been wonderful fun every time I found I could get into another size smaller jeans. I gave away my men’s golf shirts and baggy jeans, which had been my normal attire, and started dressing like a normal person. I bought me some earrings. I bought some makeup, and sometimes I put it on.

PWC gives donation to library

The Pinnacle Women’s Club presented a donation of $1,000 to Dale Molander, board member of the Library at Cedar Creek Lake, during their June membership meeting. This library serves the Cedar Creek area and is a resource center that provides library materials and services, promotes and assists in educational development and encourages reading. It provides instruction in adult literacy, GED, English as a second language, computer, financial, health and nutrition literacy. Assistant DA Justin Weiner recognized for community service

District Attorney’s Office press release

Monday morning, Eustace Police Chief Ken Holder along with District Attorney Scott McKee took time to recognize efforts made by one of McKee’s prosecutors for his dedication and service to the citizens of Eustace and Henderson County.

Justin Weiner, who also is the city prosecutor for Eustace, was presented a “Community Service Ribbon,” which is typically displayed on a peace officer’s uniform. The award was given to recognize Weiner’s outstanding efforts and involvement within the community including his participation in the East Texas Crisis Center’s “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes.” The event, held last month, raised money and awareness for women who have fallen victim to physical and sexual violence.

Living in Athens with his wife and 1-year-old son, Weiner is deeply committed to and involved in the community. He serves as the chairman of the Henderson County Child Welfare Board, overseeing funding for and assessing the needs of foster children here in Henderson County. Head celebrates 50 years as attorney

Athens attorney Fred Head and Tyler attorney and outgoing State Bar President Buck Files were recognized at the State Bar of Texas Convention in Dallas on Friday, June 21, as having served as Texas lawyers for 50 years. Pictured, from left, are Fred Head, Buck Files’ wife Robyn, Buck Files and Head’s wife Marsha as they visit following former State Bar President Files’ farewell speech at the 50-year lawyer recognition luncheon. Both Files and Head, who served Smith, Henderson and other East Texas counties as State Representative for 14 years, maintain active law practices from their downtown offices in Athens and Tyler, respectively.
