Funeral services for Andy Kinabrew of Malakoff are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, August 3, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Malakoff with Bro. Frank Upchurch and Bro. Gene Bishop officiating. Interment will follow at Post Oak Cemetery in Malakoff.

Andy Kinabrew passed away July 30, 2018 in Athens, Texas.

Andy Lee Kinabrew was born April 19, 1972 in Tyler, Texas the son of Robbie Leo Kinabrew and Judy Baker Kinabrew Graham. He was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church and attended Shady Oaks Baptist Church. He worked for Iron Horse Unlimited as an operator and foreman and then went to work for Henderson County Precinct 1 as a foreman. “Homebrew” loved riding his Harley, hanging out with his friends and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had a huge heart and was loved by all.

Obituary: Dale Arnett

Graveside Services for Dale Arnett of Athens will be held at a later date in the Lincoln Memory Garden in Whitestown, Indiana.

Dale Arnett passed away July 27, 2018 in Athens, Texas.

Dale Eugene Arnett was born October 6, 1942 in Indianapolis, Indiana the son of Charles Arnett and Ruth Kelly Arnett. He graduated from Sunset Bible College in Lubbock, Texas to dedicate his life to the ministry. He was the Chaplain and Prison Minister serving Eastern Hills Church of Christ for 20 years. He enjoyed leather work, the Indianapolis Colts and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather.

Obituary: Geraldine ‘Gerri’ Kuykendall

Geraldine “Gerri” Kuykendall of Athens was born on September 8, 1943 in Raydell, AR to John Robert Zimmerman and Verna Mae Mackey Zimmerman. She passed away in Tyler on July 26, 2018.

Gerri is proceeded in death by her parents; her husband: Bill Kuykendall; her sons: Bryan Meletti and Cody Kuykendall; and her siblings: Verna Hatch, Wanda Kennedy, and Freddy Zimmerman. She is survived by her children: Eddie Meletti, Melinda Meletti, Dennis Kuykendall, Michael Kuykendall, Shawn Kuykendall and wife Kandi; daughters-in-law: Kandi and Doris; siblings: Leonard “Butch” Payan and wife Cindy, Billy Payan and wife Gail, Roberta Posey and husband George, Juanita Giddings, Pat Edwards and husband George “Rube”; and brother-in-law: Doug Kennedy, as well as many numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also leaves many “adopted” children that she loved like her own.

Obituary: Faustino Morales

Funeral services for Faustino Morales are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home in Athens with Fr. Lowry officiating. Interment will follow at Athens Cemetery in Athens.

Faustino Morales went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 25, 2018 in Athens.

Faustino Morales was born January 1, 1924 the son of Efren Morales and Erminia Zonega. He was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church and very devoted to the Virgin Mary. He loved animals and enjoyed the outdoors spending time working in his yard. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend that will be missed by all who knew him.

Obituary: Betty Gracey

Funeral services for Betty Gracey are scheduled for 10 a.m., Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home in Athens with Pastor Olin Boles officiating. Interment will follow at Larue Cemetery in Larue, Texas.

Betty Gracey passed away on July 25, 2018 in Athens, Texas.

Betty Jean Grizzard Gracey was born August 18, 1939 the daughter of Robert Clinton Grizzard and Mabel Longbotham Grizzard. She was a member of the New York Baptist Church and attended the Adult II Sunday School Class. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, canning, and working in her garden. Mrs. Gracey also loved to travel with her husband of 60 years. “Granny” loved to spend time with her family and she will be missed by all that knew her.
