Malakoff and Eustace will be moving subvarsity football games from Thursday to Wednesday due to possible bad weather on Thursday. The JV will play at Eustace at 5 p.m. The 7th and 8th grade games will be in Malakoff starting at 4:30 p.m.
“This is their last game of year, and we did not want them to possibly miss out on getting to play,” said Malakoff ISD Superintendent Randy Perry. “We want to thank Eustace ISD for their understanding and cooperation.”

For the second straight week, Eustace is making changes to its football schedule because of the threat of rain.
Varsity football will be 7 p.m. Thursday on the road at Teague.
Middle School (7th and 8th) and JV football games will be held Wednesday night in Eustace beginning at 5 p.m.
Both the boys and girls cross country teams are headed to state after their performance at Regionals today.
The boys were Regional champions, with Ericsen Gudjohnsen leading the way in 3rd place.
The girls finished second at the meet, with Chanda Westbrook the top finisher in 7th place.
Because of the rainy weather that is predicted to move into the area Thursday evening, there have been some changes made to the Eustace ISD football schedule for this week.
Varsity football has been moved to Thursday night. The Bulldogs will play Palestine Westwood in Eustace starting at 6 p.m.
The Middle School games have been moved to Friday. Currently, Eustace is scheduled to play Westwood Middle School at Westwood starting at 5 p.m. on Friday.
The Eustace JV football team was scheduled to play Arp at home on Thursday. The school districts are trying to get this game moved to Arp and keep it on Thursday.
The Friday volleyball game remains unchanged. Euste will travel to Arp on Friday with a start time of 4:30 p.m. for the varsity.
