Athens Christian Preparatory press release

Athens Christian Preparatory recently hosted its 6th annual Father-Daughter Ball. This year the ball was held at the school’s new campus. The theme was a country theme entitled “Burlap and Lace.” Attendees were greeted with hot chocolate while they waited for their beautiful horse and carriage ride to the ballroom. White lights, lavender flowers, mason jar candles, and burlap and lace swags made the night a night to remember.

When the guests were ready for a dance break, there were special valentine themed goodies waiting in the adjacent room. A s’more bar for the daughters, and a bacon-themed food bar for the fathers ensured that no one went away hungry.

As the night unfolded, many of the girls enjoyed singing some of their favorite songs “on stage” for the audience. “I’ll Fly Away” was the hit of the night.

The fathers showed their dance moves and the daughters showed their delight. Each girl was sent home with a small party gift. The night was truly a celebration of the special bond between fathers and daughters.
