Athens High School will be offering a mini cheer camp on Saturday, Oct. 18 from 8:30-12:30 at the AHS Annex. The camp is open to pre-K through 6th graders. Participants will be able to cheer during the first half of the Oct. 24 home game when the Hornets play Kaufman. Cost is $30 for early registration and $35 the day of camp. Early College High School Teacher of the Month
Jessica Price is the Teacher of the Month at the district’s Early College High School campus. In just her second year of teaching, Mrs. Price instructs in English I, II, IV and pre-AP. She was in dance or gymnastics from the age of 5 to 18 and was on the drill team in high school at Flower Mound.
