Personal trainer Ashley Vandam (of Training BY Ashley) is starting a free running club that will meet once a week at the Cain Center for a 3-mile walk/run.

Ashley said she started the club “to bring the community together with the goal of better health. People will be more motivated to get healthier if they have friends or family doing it with them!”

The walk/run will be at each person’s individual pace.

“The goal is to get the community in shape and get each individual to the 100-mile mark,” Ashley said.

The first run will be held this Monday at 7:30 a.m. at the Cain Center.
