PWC press release

The Pinnacle Women’s Club annual sale is adding a Saturday to their Two-Day event running Friday October 14 and Saturday October 15. The time of opening has changed to 8 a.m. on both days. If you show up at last year’s opening time, you may be in the dark as PWC members wanted the public and its workers to begin shopping with a little daylight as last year’s event many people were waiting in line before the sun came up. “Our Sale is starting an hour later this year at 8 a.m. from previous years so we want to let folks know the time change and not show up too early as we know they like to start lining up to get first chance at some great sale items,” said Patty Evans committee chair of the PWC Garage Sale.

Everyone then adjourned for a delicious nacho lunch with fruit kabobs and cake during which the Assembly accepted four applications for membership into Rainbow and Pledge. While the guests took a short break, the dining hall was transformed into a Carnival. Keola’s Hula Halau & The Hawaiian Serenaders will be back, bringing the songs and dances of Polynesia. New on the program this year will be Poly Hwy, an island-style Reggae Group for dancing or listening pleasure. Also new to the entertainment line-up will be a Hawaiian fire dancer!
