The first Cedar Creek Lake Area Chamber of Commerce meeting of the new year was the regularly scheduled networking breakfast of the Tool/Seven Points/Kemp Chapter. They meet the first Wednesday of every month at Dairy Queen of Seven Points. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend, still no reservation necessary. A good crowd turned out this week to hear Pct. 1 County Commissioner Scotty Thomas speak. Thomas updated the group on many topics, primarily weather-related damage in 2015. The December CCARC meeting is filled with theft!
