Athens ISD is getting ready for its annual Back to School Bash … and they need your help.
This year’s event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, Aug. 10, at the high school.
“The Back to School Bash is an event where parents and their children can come to get needed immunizations and information from the school the child will be attending and meet some of the staff,” AISD Parent Liaison Yadira Chairez wrote in a letter. “Also, we work with the HELP Center to provide school supplies and backpacks for children in need.”
This year, AISD is hoping to pump up the event in an effort to get more families to attend. Chairez said the school would like to include bounce houses and hot dogs and drinks, giving it a festival feel.
“We would appreciate any donation you can make to help make the Back to School Bash a success,” she said. “Athens ISD will advertise your business at this event as a thank you for your generosity.”
To donate, please contact Yadira Chairez at 903-677-6913.
