— Members Rock Hill Baptist Church in Brownsboro are planning to go to Malawi Africa to open an orphan feeding center. There will be a benefit garage sale this Saturday, March 1, starting at 7 a.m. to help fund the mission effort. There will also be a bake sale. The sale is located at 16039 State Highway 31 East in Brownsboro.
— The Litter Box Resale Shop, owned by the Henderson County Humane Society in Athens, will be open again this Saturday, March 1, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. All proceeds support the animal shelter in Athens. We’ve been working hard to get out all the beautiful, useful new items we have received. Prices are great and we have everything from furniture and designer clothes to paint. Located at 303 N. Prairieville, just one block north of the square in Athens. See you Saturday!
