Andrew Wolfe, the Youth Minister, and the youth of First United Methodist Church, Athens invite all area youth, to a 50th Anniversary dance, Saturday, Oct. 11, 7 to 10 p.m., in Fellowship Hall, 225 Lovers Lane, (at the corners of Lovers Lane and College Street). Dress in your best 60’s outfit, peace signs, afros, bellbottoms, platform shoes, be creative! There will be a live band, LOTS of dancing, concessions, fun and fellowship. The cost is $10. Some of you may remember the famous dances back in the day, at the First United Methodist Church, Athens. As the church celebrates the past 50 years of our Sanctuary and several buildings, we are also flashing back to the good old days of our church youth dances. Hope to see you there!
