Funeral services for Kody “Pretty Boi” Ingham, 18 of Athens are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2013 at the Cain Center in Athens. Burial will follow at Athens Cemetery.

Kody went to be with his Savior on Sunday, July 14, 2013 in Athens.

Anthony Kody-Lee Ingham was born Oct. 19, 1994 in Fort Worth, the son of Antonio Cottrell Andrews and Linsley Dawn Ingham. He was baptized at the Cornerstone Church of Athens and was a kind soul who truly loved helping others. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed baseball, track, bull riding, soccer and especially football. Kody also helped with tennis and enjoyed being in theater and spending time with friends. He was a loving son, brother, and grandson and will be missed by all he knew and loved.

Kody was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Kenneth Ingham; paternal grandmother, Cynthia Andrews; and maternal great-grandparents T.J. and Wanda Bowen.

He is survived by his mother, Linsley Johnson and husband Tracey of Athens; his father Cottrell Andrews of Los Angeles, Calif.; his sister, Kelsey “Kelso” Ingham of Athens; his “sissy” Linda Ingham of Athens; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends

Visitation will be Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home in Athens.

Serving as pallbearers will be Keelan Lawyer, Johnny Castenada, Desmond Johnson, Javonte Johnson, Rudy Jiminez and Cameron Houston. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be the Athens High School football team.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the Kody Ingham Memorial Fund at First State Bank of Athens in any location.

Obituary: Sandy Krew Icenhower

Visitation for Sandy Krew Icenhower 20, of Kemp, will be 6-9 p.m. Tuesday July 16, 2013 at Huckabee/Tomlinson Funeral Home in Seven Points.

Sandy was born to Mark Icenhower and Leah Rothacker Icenhower in Houston March 13, 1993 and died at Tool July 13, 2013.

He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, George Nolan Icenhower and James Engstrom.

He is survived by is parents; grandmothers, Janis Icenhower and Mary Jean Engstrom; sister, Skylar Icenhower; uncle George Nolan Icenhower, Jr.; numerous other family members and friends.

Military News: Antonio B. Antonio

Antonio B. AntonioAir Force Airman 1st Class Antonio B. Antonio graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Antonio is the son of Leonor and Obidio Antonio of Athens.

He is a 2005 graduate of Athens High School.

Vacation Bible Schools coming up

Prairieville Baptist Church kicked off our VBS this past Sunday, July 14th at 6:45 pm. Bring your kids and bring your kids friends! FBC to host Global Leadership Summit

The two-day event is headlined by speakers such as former U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell; executive producer of Survivor, The Voice and The Bible, Mark Burnett; founder and senior pastor of Willow Creek Community Church, one of the largest churches in America, Bill Hybles; and four best-selling authors.

According to the website: “The Global Leadership Summit is a two-day, world-class leadership event experienced by more than 170,000 leaders around the world, representing more than 14,000 churches.
