Good news … power has been restored in Bel Air in Athens.
I have been told the outages in Athens are connected to a few downed lines, which could be a good thing.
In many storms, scattered falling trees will take down lines causing quite a few outages that take hours to find and fix.
This storm wreaked havoc on a few metal buildings and roofs, which sliced or downed a few important main feeder lines.
According to officials, in this case the cause is easier to identify and fix, and one line restored may see power restored at hundreds at once.
