Athens Mayor Jerry Don Vaught is pleased to announce the first annual City of Athens Mayor’s Outstanding Leadership Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at the Athens Country Club.
“The Athens community is fortunate to have talented and outstanding leaders,” Mayor Jerry Don Vaught said. “The City of Athens is pleased to be able to honor this year’s award recipients for their outstanding leadership.”
The four outstanding leaders to be recognized are Carol Barton, Neil Hunter, Bob McDonald and Mary Ann Perryman.
The luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m. with the program and awards ceremony following.
Tickets are available at Athens City Hall, located at 508 E. Tyler St., for $20 per person or you may reserve a table for eight at $20 per person. All tickets must be purchased in advance by Friday, Oct. 17 at 5 p.m. and will not be sold at the door. Business attire is recommended.
