It is always good to be first in your field, just ask Dennis Cooper.
Dennis is the owner of Insurance4u4less.com, which was honored earlier this month at a banquet in Fort Worth as being the No. 1 Independent Sales Agency in Texas for Allstate. The agency was also No. 2 in the nation and world.
The award is even more impressive when you consider Cooper’s company is relatively small, including offices in Athens, Gun Barrel City, Ennis, Waxahachie, and two offices in Corsicana. Insurance4u4less.com beat out agencies with 10 times as many offices.
Dennis is quick to give credit to his employees.
“The important part are the ladies who make the sales,” he said.
Dennis praised Kim Knowles, Sarah Judkins, Karen Kimball, Danica Linville, Paula Prevost, Tarri Gulick, and Jaimie Fox.
Dennis has owned the agency since 1974, but insurance runs in the family and goes all the way back to his father, Victor Alonzo Cooper, Jr., in 1947.
Dennis is a life member of the Chamber of Commerce, past president of the Mid-Tex Life Underwriters Association, past president of the Lions Club, past member of the Million Dollar Round Table, and on the advisory board of several insurance companies.
