Callaway Coffee & Bistro (CC&B), located on South Prairieville, across from Trinity Valley Community College, happily announces the opening of its very first “Green Room Art Exhibit” – 8 canvases, 6 pen & inks by area abstract artist, Carolyn Ellis.
Kimberlee Callaway, owner of CC&B, is totally delighted to add original art to the CC&B experience: “With the new Green Room Exhibit running through May, people can now get their custom coffees, enjoy delicious freshly prepared -food, and browse original art all under one roof – how cool is that?”
Ellis, by the way, also has exhibits of her bold, thought provoking artwork at the Cain Center and ZEN and Beauty Salon (Across from the Athens Museum) here in town.
Said Ellis, “There’s so much in the air for the arts here in Athens – two major events this month (April 9/massive Texan Theater Event and April 23/ Gallery 211’s Fabulous Art Walk) – I couldn’t be happier to be an artist in such a culturally rich town!
To keep up with Ellis’ daily art doings, check her out on Facebook as Carolyn Ellis Art! As Ellis likes to say, “Art On!”
