There are 10,000 extra reasons to participate in the Trinity Valley Community College Foundation Golf Tournament this year.
The 2015 edition of the event, which is scheduled Monday, May 18, at Pinnacle Golf and Boat Club, will feature a $10,000 prize for any hole-in-one on the Par 3, 165-yard seventh hole.
In addition to the $10,000 prize for holes-in-one, all other par 3 holes have ancillary prizes for a hole-in-one, such as a $500 visa card, set of irons and a kindle fire.
Also, every player in the tournament will receive a voucher for a new golf club.
Entries are currently being sought for the event, which benefits the TVCC Foundation’s scholarship and capital campaign. The entry deadline is Monday, May 11.
Cost of the four-person scramble $300 team, or $75 per individual. The entry fee includes lunch. Individuals not associated with a team will be placed on one.
This year’s tournament will feature split tee times. The morning flight will have an 8 a.m. shotgun start and the afternoon flight will have a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m.
Entry applications may be picked up at the Office of Institutional Advancement in the administration building on the TVCC campus in Athens.
Hole sponsorships are also available at $100 per hole.
