HCN just received this update from TxDOT
“Water continues to rise between Malakoff and Trinidad due to the rise of Cedar Creek. Water is slowly approaching the eastbound lanes from the road side park outside of Malakoff to just east of Trinidad.”
“Crews are currently moving barricades to this location for installation should water overtake the eastbound lanes. If this occurs, traffic will be shifted to the westbound lanes which would then handle two-way traffic until the water recedes.”
