The Athens Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) welcomes Susan Jacobs, who will serve as the corporation’s Office Manager, beginning her role in December. Susan brings 29 years of administrative support and office management experience, most recently with Air Products & Chemicals, Inc. in Conyers, Ga.
Susan’s primary duties will include office and property management, as well as support services for AEDC’s director and board. “We are thrilled to have Susan join us,” said Lisa Denton, AEDC Executive Director. “She brings a wealth of experience and will be a great addition to our team.”
Susan will be relocating to Athens with her husband Charlie, who recently began working with FutureMatrix Interventional as VP of Research and Development. “I am excited about the opportunities at AEDC,” said Jacobs. “I am excited about coming to Athens and being involved in the growing enthusiasm for the area.”
Jacobs attended Fisher Junior College in Boston, MA, focusing on business management. She and her husband have two children, both of whom are attending college in GA.
