The City of Chandler and local sponsors will present the first annual Kid Fish Day on June 21 at Winchester Park
from 9 a.m. – NOON. Kids ages 3-15 who have a Chandler address may participate free of charge. There
will be an exhibit from Texas Parks & Wildlife which teaches kids how to fish, free t-shirts, games, trophies
and awards, door prizes and a free hot dog lunch. Preregistration is MANDATORY. Applications and
information are available at City Hall, the Chandler Public Library and Creekside Sports. Fishing poles,
tackle and bait will be provided but you may bring your own. Only 150 participants will be accepted so register
soon!
