TVCC sophomore guard Shlonte’ Allen broke a school record that had stood for more than a quarter century when she scored 52 points in the team’s win over Panola Wednesday evening at Cardinal Gym. Allen’s record-setting night topped the previous record of 50 in a single game set by Cardinal Hall of Famer Portia Hill in 1988.
