If you play an instrument, read music and would like to be a part of “I Love a Piano: the Music of Irving Berlin”, HCPAC needs your talent. The Henderson County Performing Arts Center is looking for musicians who would like to volunteer their abilities for a fun musical. The score calls for bass, trumpet, trombone, violin, reeds, drums, guitar, banjo and, of course, piano.
Familiar songs in the show include Blue Skies, God Bless America, White Christmas, Alexander’s Rag Time Band and Puttin’ On the Ritz. The production is fun, upbeat, funny and the band will be center stage for the whole show!
Show dates are October 13, 14, 15, 16, 20, 21 and 22. Show times are 7:30 p.m. with the exception of October 16 which is a 2 p.m. matinee.
