The Athens Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting this week for the grand re-opening of the Family Peace Project’s newly renovated Emporium. The Emporium is a resale shop run by the Family Peace Project to raise funds to help women and children who are the victims of domestic violence. Donations to the shop are happily accepted during shop hours or by appointment. To schedule an appointment for donations, please call 903-677-9177.
