The last day to purchase tickets to the second annual Mayor’s Outstanding Leadership Awards Luncheon is Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 5 p.m. Tickets will not be sold at the door and must be purchased in advance.
The second annual Mayor’s Outstanding Leadership Awards Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 28 at the Athens Country Club.
“The Athens community is fortunate to have talented and outstanding leaders,” Mayor Jerry Don Vaught said. “I have selected these very deserving award recipients for their outstanding leadership in our community.”
The four outstanding leaders to be recognized are Ronald Baugh, Shirley Ward, Lee Bush and Peggy Gould.
The luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m. with the program and awards ceremony following.
Tickets are available at Athens City Hall, located at 508 E. Tyler St., for $25 per person or you may reserve a table for eight at $25 per person. Business attire is recommended.
