Michael was born in the city of Port-of –Spain on the Island of Trinidad in the Caribbean.
He moved to the States over 30 years ago to attend college to become an attorney. Michael said law school was easy but not his first love, he wanted to be a Doctor of Medicine. Michael retired from his law practice and decided to write books. He has written eight books, one of which has been published called “The Freedom Chip.” Michael lived a more simple life. He moved to Athens, Texas in 2012 and became a legal consultant and a friend to many people in the city. Michael said he loved the peacefulness he felt here in Athens and he often said you couldn’t meet a greater group of people than the residents in Athens.
Michael was a humble man of God who accepted his call to the ministry at the age of 12 and he remained a faithful servant.
Michael was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Terminal brain cancer in October 2014 and never complained one day. He was then employed with Maximus where he had many friends . Michael had a journey and one day his complete story, now that it is finished after a medical malpractice who will be followed at court by a wrongful death attorney.
The love of Michael’s life were his four children Gabriel, Synia, Kelton and King Solomon all in Kentucky. Michael’s main focus in life has always been family. He had a special love for his Aunt Elsie from Trinidad, and his only blood relative in Texas, Curtis G., whom he loved until his departure from this earth.
Thank You City of Athens for being so kind to my God brother, my best friend. He will truly be missed.
