Services for Mark Caldwell, 59 of Chandler are scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday at Chandler First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Mark Fulks officiating.
Mr. Caldwell passed away May 9, 2015 in Tyler.
He was born June 15, 1955 in Athens to Winston Wade and Jackie Dee Saylors Caldwell. Mark was a graduate of Athens High School and a 1976 graduate of Texas A & M University. He was a teacher and coach, teaching in many different school systems. Mark worked 18 years for Ensearch Exploration then returned to teaching and coaching. He had been a resident of Chandler since 1997 after previously living in Murchison. He was employed with Brownsboro ISD the past 8 years. Mark was a member of Chandler First Assembly of God Church. His passion was coaching and teaching young people including his children and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Jackie Wade Caldwell.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years Karen Caldwell of Chandler; sons Matthew Caldwell, Jordan Caldwell and wife Nicole all of Chandler, Joshua
Caldwell and wife Andrea of Tyler; daughter Holly burns and husband Kegan of Brownsboro; stepchildren John Kirk Smith and Karrissa Smith; grandsons Ethan Caldwell, Evan Leon, Ian Burns; granddaughter Claire Caldwell; sister Pricilla Maxfield and husband Tommy of Lindale; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Maxfield, Stanley Ferguson, Kevin Head, Kenny Edwards, Mike Edwards and James Thomason.
Visitation for family and friends will be 5:30-7:30 Tuesday at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home.
