The Ladies of Cross Roads Baptist Church are hosting their 14th Annual Women’s Conference on April 11. The theme this year is “Traveling on the Gospel Ship.”
All who attend will enjoy a full day of fun, food and fellowship while learning about the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
The conference has become a traditional day of celebration among Christian women of all denominations. Rebecca Nix, of Overflow Ministries, will be the keynote speaker for the morning and afternoon sessions. In addition to the speaker and testimonials, there will be wonderful music provided by Cross Roads’ Pearl Girls, Bridgett Huffhines of Waco and various in-house talents.
The famous “Cross Roads Cooks” (headed by Bro. Frank Upchurch) will be cooking up recipes for the continental breakfast and hot-off-the-cooker lunch. The youth of the church will have a hand in helping serve both meals. Each table will be uniquely decorated to fit a nautical theme.
Christian vendors will be set up for shopping before and after the conference and during breaks. Some of the goods for sell are handcrafted and have been donated for door prizes. Many door prizes will be given away throughout the day with a Grand Door Prize being given at the end of the conference.
The cost is $12 for the day. Registration and breakfast will be from 7:15-8:15 a.m. The conference will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. The afternoon session will begin at 1 p.m. and close around 3 p.m.
