After participating in the TVCC Small Business Development Center’s “Going into Business/Creating a Successful Business” eight-week seminar, two winners will receive Entrepreneurship Grants from Athens Economic Development Corporation.
The seminar was sponsored by the AEDC.
Larry Shirey with Reliable Battery will qualify for a $20,000 grant, upon relocation of his business within the city limits of Athens and proof of real and/or personal property investment within a one year time period.
Miranda Perry will soon realize her dream of Philosophy Fit with a $6,000 grant, which will be reimbursed upon proof of expenditures related to the business start-up, within a one year time period.
