The Henderson County area is well known within the region for the many organizations that are supported by volunteers who offer their very capable talents and expertise in support of various organizations. The Pinnacle Women’s Club recognized these endeavors at their yearly Philanthropy Luncheon.

The Christian Life Center Food Pantry in Gun Barrel City is represented by Juanita Franklin and Marian Graham. Chris Bynum represented The Mabank Area Good Samaitans. The Tool Community through donations and volunteers supported and built a facility near the Methodist Church. It is known as the Community Food Panty in Tool. This oranization is representated by Ruth Pimm.

These organizations provide needed food goods for their areas. Many people depend on this food for their daily sustenance. They are supplied by the generous donations from indiviuals and organizations.

Sandy Ward has been a volunteer for the Friends of the Animals for several years. There are many who volunteer their time there in support of the four legged population. Their services are many and the prices are nominal. PWC is very grateful to them for their dedication in caring for the animals.
