Loretta Humble invited me to be a guest columnist, but don’t worry, she is just taking a break from all that she does.
Here it goes: I have a story to tell about my little dog, Willie Jo. She is 8 months old and I was told that they are, smart, bull-headed creatures. I thought that just can’t be, but I was proven wrong.
Her first episode, I was painting the bathroom and I left the back door open for her to get in and out, I was also doing the laundry. She kept running in and out so I knew she was alive and well. After a while, I take a break and walked to the door to see what Willow was up to—surprise, surprise she had drug my dirty laundry to the backyard. This included a pair of jeans, personal items, a blouse and towels. Now, mind you, this little dog only weight about 4 pounds at the time. It was so funny, that I couldn’t get mad at her, I just laughed, and that was my downfall, she knew she could get away with murder.
Just about a month later, we were having a time with stickers in the yard. (They have a name, but can’t remember what it is) Some of the stickers were so deep in her hair I would have to cut them out. I had a little pair of scissors that was perfect for the job. I left them on my end table. Went back later that day and the scissors were gone—went looking. Willow had taken them out side and put them thought the hole in the wire fence! I now know that Yorkies are smart, cute, loveable, a loving companion, did I mention “cute?” as long as you do things her way.
Thanks for letting me ramble on about Willow Jo. The next time I will write about something new if I get copy approval from Willow!
