Online ticket sales are under way
Are you read to “thINK big?”
The Trinity Valley Community College Cardettes are putting the finishing touches on their 32nd annual spring production, which is scheduled April 24-26 at the TVCC Auditorium.
“thINK big” is scripted to take the audience on a musical ride of how ink has been an influential part of our lives which once it is written it is set for life and never truly goes away.
TVCC Cardette director Darla Mansfield said this year’s show will be different as in the past in its musical presentation.
“You will still get a great show for all ages but different from past shows, the musical interpretation is quite different and intelligent. It will spawn multiple emotions and prove to be highly entertaining.”
In addition to the choreography for the show being done by directors, students and guest choreographers, there will also be a new addition to the show this year, a feature presentation by male students in a Hip Hop dance class.
Online ticket sales for the three-date show are under way and will continue through April 17. Tickets are $8 and are available at www.tvcc.edu/cardettes.
Tickets will also be available at the door for $12 for general admission seating. Seating will be limited and the Cardettes urge purchasing tickets in advance to guarantee seating.
A ticket special is being offered exclusively for TVCC students, who can purchase a $3 ticket for the Friday performance only. Those tickets can be purchased by contacting the Cardette Office in the Liberal Arts Building directly.
Proceeds from the spring production will benefit the Cardettes in future fundraising efforts. A silent auction will also be held to support and upcoming travel celebrating the 55th anniversary of the Cardettes in the 2015-16 semester.
Sponsors for the spring show are: Showtime International; Happy Feet Boots; All World Travel and Tours; TVCC Foundation; McDonald’s; First State Bank; Whataburger, and American Dance and Drill Team School.
