Renee McLaughlin

Press release

On July 10, Fire Marshal Shane Renberg responded to an illegal dump of trash on CR 3418 in Brownsboro. After an investigation, it was determined the person responsible for dumping the trash was Renee McLaughlin. McLaughlin was arrested at the scene and transported to Henderson County Jail and booked in for Illegal Dumping > 5lbs a class B misdemeanor. McLaughlin was also cited for Driving while license suspended and failure to maintain financial responsibility.

Renberg said, “I want the public to understand that these cases are serious. Illegal dumping occurs all over our county and when we determine who is responsible, these individuals will go to jail and face fines and court cost along with restitution for the cleanup of the trash. There are several places in the county to legally dump your trash and the cost is considerately less expensive than jail time and fines.”

Reports of illegal dumping activities can be reported to the Henderson County Fire Marshal’s Office at 903-675-6157 or email [email protected].
