To show support for North Central Texas College, which lost four softball players in a horrific accident Friday night, Trinity Valley Community College is asking all fans attending Wednesday night’s volleyball game against Navarro College at Cardinal Gym to wear blue.
Also, the college is planning to sell blue t-shirts with all proceeds go to NCTC to help defray medicals costs of players injured in the accident, which occurred on I-35 in Oklahoma after a Lady Lions’ game.
A moment of silence, which will include the Lady Cardinals’ softball team joining the TVCC and Navarro teams on the floor, is planned before the start of the TVCC-Navarro contest at 7 p.m.
