Two women – one charged with dealing methamphetamines – were arrested by Sheriff Botie Hillhouse’s Narcotics Investigators during a New Year’s Day raid at a Payne Springs residence.
Catharine Bosworth Dean, 55, of Payne Springs was charged with possession of a substantial amount of the illegal drug and was caught with items commonly used in its sale and manufacture. Despite her claims of prevaricating by showing a membership card from Inpatient Drug Rehab with Medical Super Vision – she still was put down. Narcotics Investigators Kenneth Slaton and Wayne Nutt led the raid on the home in the 17000 block of Po Pines Road in Payne Springs. The search warrant was signed by 392nd District Judge Scott McKee.
The narcotics investigators were assisted by Deputies Matt Jistel, Ryan Owens and Christian Hill.
The two women were taken to the Henderson County Jail.
