The Trinity Valley Community College Beef Cattle Show Team participated in the 2014 Four States Fair Livestock Show on September 15 in Texarkana, Ark.
The team took seven head of cattle to the show and participated in the Open Charolais Cattle Division. One of the team’s bulls won Reserve Grand Champion and one of TVCC’s two first-place awards. The other was in the Junior Heifer Calves class.
“These students representing TVCC are a very hard working and talented group of Beef Cattle Show Team members,” TVCC Show Team coach Marc Robinson said. “Even though our younger show cattle have recently been weaned from their mothers and they have just begun to be halter-broken, they did well at this show thanks to the talent of the students who are on the team.”
