Three Arrested in GBC on Drug Charges

On Monday, Oct. 27, Henderson County Sheriffs Office Narcotics Investigator Wick Gabbard obtained a narcotics search warrant for the residence located at 443 Anchor in Gun Barrel City. The search warrant was issued by Henderson County Justice of the Peace Milton Adams and authorized the search of the residence for methamphetamine.

Investigators Wick Gabbard, Brad Gray, Kendell Wellman, John Long, Michael Shelley, Sergeant Mitch Baker, Sheriff Ray Nutt, Chief Deputy Botie Hillhouse, Captain Bryan Tower, Lt. Charlie Severn, Gun Barrel Police Sergeant Patrick Johnson and Detective Monte Mansfield conducted the search.

Investigators seized a quantity methamphetamine at the residence. The suspected narcotics will be submitted to the DPS Crime Lab for analysis.
Patrick Gonzales charged with ManufactureDelivery of a Controlled Substance over 4 but under 200 grams which is a first degree felony punishable by 5 to 99 years or life in TDCJ and up to a $10,000 fine. Dylan Gunderson was charged with PCS PG 3 under 28 grams which is a Class A misdemeanor which is punishable by up to 1 year in jail and a $4,000 fine. Billy Cooper was charged with Possession of Marijuana under 2oz which is a class B misdemeanor punishable by up to 180 days in jail and a $2,000 fine.

Bonds were set at $12,500 on Gonzales, $8,500 on Gunderson and $2,000 on Cooper by Henderson County Justice of the Peace Precinct 1 Randy Daniel.
