School elections roundup: Eustace bond passes; school boards selected

Eustace ISD voters have unofficially approved the issuance of $38.6 million of bonds by the Eustace Independent School District for school facilities and the levying of a tax in payment thereof.

The vote totals from Tuesday are:

For – 1,387
Against – 1,224

These results are unofficial and could change with the counting of provisional votes.

The bond will be used for the following purposes:

— Construction of a New High School with Vocational/Ag/CTE
— Renovations to Existing Facilities, including the Primary, Intermediate and Middle Schools
— Conversion of the Current High School to a Middle School
— Purchase of New School Busses
