The Pinnacle Women’s Club celebrated its 15th anniversary recently with a birthday party at the Pinnacle Club.
While the 70 members were enjoying their cake and ice cream, they were treated to a video featuring highlights from the last 15 years. The video included “The Way We Were” and “We Are Family” as background music. This delightful video was created by Jerry Tate, the husband of member, Ann Tate.
A longtime member, Cherry Fugitt, planned and emceed the program. The membership gave a warm welcome to four members who had moved away and returned for this event: Kay Hazelbaker, Paula Kimball, Eunice Lightfoot, and Sherri Thomsen, who was also representing her mother, Barbara Arnold.
As a charming reminder of our beginnings, the installation of the new 2013-2014 Officers was performed by the club’s original, 1998-1999 Officers. Aulsine DeLoach, installed the President, Gail Fankhauser, and ceremoniously passed on the club’s gavel. Susie Johnson installed the Vice President, Virginia Gandy. Joyce Helberg, substituting for Ann Johnson, installed the Treasurer, Marlene Ungarean. And, Lois Welch installed the Secretary, Bernice Quickel.
