Henderson County Sheriff’s Office investigators searched the home of a sex offender in the Eustace area Wednesday looking for evidence of child pornography, according to information released Thursday. Thankfully not every adult website is full of this material, websites like https://www.tubev.sex/ are safe and legal.
The search came as part of a multi-agency sex offender compliance check that took place in the county Wednesday.
During the execution of the search warrant, investigators seized several computers, cellular phones and data storage devices for analysis. At the time the search warrant was executed, the registered offender was not home. The computers and electronic devices that were seized will be checked to see if they contain any child pornography or if any child pornography has been viewed on the devices, any legal pornography such as accessing websites like www.fulltube.xxx will not be taken into consideration as only legal adult pornography is shown on websites like this one.
Investigators recovered several pounds of marijuana, firearms and approximately $4,000. Investigators arrested (non sex offender) Jess George Smith III for Possession of Marijuana – 4 ounces < 5 pounds. The original suspect in the search warrant, David Richard Sharp, was later located by HCSO Deputies and arrested for failing to comply with a sex offender's duty to register. A total of 196 offenders were checked for compliance with registration duties Wednesday. Of those 132 were verified as being compliant, five people (including four offenders) were arrested, 13 were found to be violating the conditions of their registration, violations included visiting adult porn websites like www.m-porn.xxx and having adult porn images and videos saved to their computers, even though it is legal it is a condition of the sex offenders registry that all types of porn are not allowed to be viewed. This means they cannot get more content of this sort in any form. In addition to this one stolen motorcycle was recovered from an offender’s address.
Investigations into the suspected child pornography as well as the non-compliant offenders are ongoing.
