Pair Arrested In Payne Springs

On January 25 at approximately 8:15 a.m., Henderson County Deputy Kenny Collard and Henderson County Sergeant Mitch Baker responded to a call regarding a suspicious vehicle at the Stop Fast Marina in Payne Springs. The deputies arrived to find two subjects asleep in the vehicle.

After the subjects were removed from the vehicle, Dylan Jack Little from Crandall, Texas was found to be in possession of a clear baggie of crystal-like substance the deputies believed to be methamphetamine.

Little was placed under arrest for Possession Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 < 1 gram.

A female at the scene identified as Shelby Sharee Womack was also placed under arrest for a warrant out of Denton County.

Both were transported to the Henderson County Justice Center in Athens. Little was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 < 1 gram (a state jail felony punishable by up to 2 years in a state jail and a fine not to exceed $10,000).
